As per the terms of his plea deal, Bennett was sentenced to ten years in jail and an additional ten years on probation.

Bennett was charged with murder and turned himself in to the police in 2021. According to a statement from his principal attorney, Drew Findling, he has stayed in jail until his trial and may be eligible for release in as little as four months.

As a condition of his plea, Bennett has agreed to not participate in any future case, according to Findling.

Rapper Young Thug, who won a Grammy, is one of the accused members of YSL who is presently on trial for murder and racketeering.

Additionally, according to prosecution, YSL members had spoken about obtaining Young Thug’s consent to assassinate Bennett, as Surge Insights has previously revealed.
