Concerning the 2022 board investigation into CEO payments, Janel Grant files a lawsuit claiming McMahon forced her into having sex with him and other men when she worked in the wrestling company.
In a new complaint, a woman who received payment from WWE CEO Vince McMahon has accused the business, McMahon, and a former executive of engaging in sex trafficking. This raises concerns over the scope of an internal corporate investigation carried out by a legal firm last year.
In a complaint filed on Thursday, Janel Grant, a former worker at the wrestling company’s corporate headquarters, claimed that McMahon had sexually harassed and mistreated her throughout his tenure as CEO. She said that after being seduced by McMahon with false promises of professional growth, he took advantage of her and sold her to other guys in the organization.
Working in the company’s legal and talent departments, Janel Grant filed a graphic 67-page lawsuit alleging that McMahon, now 78, forced her into a sexual relationship in order for her to get and keep a job and distributed her pornographic photos and videos to other men, including other WWE employees.

Following an inquiry into claims that corresponded with the complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Connecticut, the home of WWE, McMahon resigned as the company’s CEO in 2022.
The former general manager and head of talent relations for the WWE, John Laurinaitis, is named as a defendant in the complaint by Grant.
In most sexual assault cases, the AP does not identify the accuser; however, Grant’s attorneys stated that she wanted to be made public.
Attorney Ann Callis stated in a statement, “Ms. Grant believes that her case will prevent future women from being victimised.” “The company needs to accept accountability for the wrongdoing of its management, as they are fully aware of Mr. McMahon’s history of immoral behaviour.”
TKO Group, the parent company of WWE, said in a statement that it is treating the accusations seriously.
TKO Group released a statement saying, “Mr. McMahon does not monitor the day-to-day activities of WWE or manage TKO.” Although the TKO management team’s experience at the firm predates this situation, we are taking Ms. Grant’s horrifying accusations seriously and are handling this internally.
McMahon and Laurinaitis were also contacted via social media and email for comments.
In 2019, when Grant’s parents passed away, McMahon allegedly tried to help her land a job at WWE while they were living in the same building.
She claims that he ultimately revealed to her that having a physical connection with him, and then with Laurinaitis and others, was a must for the job.
According to the lawsuit, McMahon showered her with gifts throughout the ensuing years, including an expensive automobile.
Additionally, it claims that in 2021, McMahon gave Grant sex as a reward to one of his well-known wrestlers, who is not mentioned in the complaint.
“WWE signed new contracts with WWE Superstar and other wrestling talent after McMahon portrayed Plaintiff as a sexual commodity for WWE to employ,” the lawsuit claims, indicating that WWE profited financially from the commercial sex act enterprise that McMahon engineered.
Grant is asking the court to declare a $3 million nondisclosure agreement void, of which she claims she only received $1 million, and to award her unspecified monetary damages.
For many years, McMahon led WWE and was its most recognisable figure. Wrestling events were held in modest venues and aired on local cable channels when he bought the World Wrestling Federation from his father in 1982.
WWE has a substantial international fan base, and its matches are currently hosted at professional sports arenas.
McMahon is the executive chairman of the board of TKO Group Holdings, a $21.4 billion sports entertainment corporation formed by the merger of WWE and the Ultimate Fighting Championship organisation in April of last year.
