A location-specific Amber Alert for Miiori Colon was issued for the counties of Yuba, Yolo, Sutter, Placer, Nevada, and Sacramento.
California — After being kidnapped close to Marysville, a 7-month-old infant was discovered unharmed, according per the California Highway Patrol.
The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office reported late on Thursday morning that the girl had been recovered safe and that the suspect was in jail. For a brief while, the counties of Yuba, Yolo, Sutter, Placer, Nevada, and Sacramento were under an Amber Alert.
A little after midnight, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a domestic argument. The caller said that after an altercation, she and her ex-boyfriend Lance Colon parted ways, with Colon taking her kid with him.
Lance Colon is “more of a stepfather type,” the CHP told ABC10.

After the youngster and Colon were discovered in a Rancho Cordova residence, Colon was apprehended without any problems. In addition to being suspected of kidnapping, child abduction, domestic abuse, intimidating a witness, and preventing someone from contacting 911, he was also put into the county jail on the basis of a prior felony warrant.
