Since November 2023, Rey Mysterio has not been seen in the WWE. The former World Heavyweight Champion appears to be in high spirits as his possible return draws near. He took time off to have surgery to repair a damaged meniscus.
The WWE Hall of Famer and his son Dominik Mysterio were recently photographed out to eat. Many fans have begun to doubt their real-life relationship because of their animosity against one another on TV. This proves, if it wasn’t already clear, that Rey and Dirty Dom are still friends despite their intense competition.
The two enjoyed dinner at the seafood restaurant CATCH Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. A photo of Dominik and Rey Mysterio was shared on the restaurant’s Instagram account by manager Jason Pietrantoni. The member of Judgment Day appeared to be beaming, while the Master of the 619 had no mask at all.

When will Rey Mysterio make a WWE comeback?
Rey Mysterio has been out for more than three months due to the aforementioned knee issue. His goal was to make a comeback by the end of January 2024, maybe in time for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match. But that didn’t actually happen.
In the most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the WWE Hall of Famer will be returning shortly. After Elimination Chamber: Perth, Rey Mysterio may make a quick comeback to begin setting up a WrestleMania 40 showdown versus Santos Escobar.

The former member of the Latino World Order attacked Mysterio in an attempt to get him removed from WWE television, and it appears like the two celebrities will square off at The Grandest Stage of Them All. Without a question, it would be Escobar’s greatest match to date.
