Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, formally sought to have the “Pitt” removed from her last name, as per documents submitted when she turned eighteen.

Documents obtained by TMZ on May 30 show that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt formally sought to have the “Pitt” removed from her last name amid the continuing court fights between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Shiloh is starting a new chapter in her life at the time of the filing. Her request to alter her name was filed on May 27, which is her actual birthday and the day she became an adult according to the documents.
Along with Shiloh, Brad and Angelina also coparent twins Vivienne and Knox, 15, as well as Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, and Zahara, 19.
When E! News contacted Brad’s representative, they did not hear back. E! contacted Angelina’s representative as well, but she hasn’t heard back.
Shiloh appears to be shortening her name these days, though, along with other members of the family. The Outsiders is a new Broadway musical that Vivienne, 15, and Angelina produced. Just this week, many publications revealed that Vivienne’s name was listed as “Vivienne Jolie” in the playbill.

Zahara, the eldest daughter of Angelina and Brad, has similarly chosen not to have her last name hyphenated. The freshman identified herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” at the initiation ceremony of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College in November.
Naturally, the Jolie-Pitt family is used to the kids’ antics. After all, Brad was born William Bradley Pitt and gave up his first name when he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career, while Angelina gave up her father Jon Voight’s surname to become Angelina Jolie.
It seems to run in the family.
