According to Powerball, this was the tenth highest lottery prize in the United States and the fifth largest in Powerball history.
Since a record-breaking $1.765 billion winning ticket was sold in southern California in October of last year, nobody has won the Powerball. The thirty-fifth drawing since then was made on Monday.
