Haller would not be denied once again as the half came to an end, scoring in the 65th minute. With a 1-0 advantage, Côte d’Ivoire would hold on to win the match.
They have advanced to the championship match, which is set for Sunday, February 11, when they will play Nigeria, after defeating DR Congo. Earlier in the competition, the two teams faced off in group play, with Nigeria emerging victorious in a close game 1-0.
