The new movie hit theaters on July 28 2023, and as of right now you cannot catch the film in theaters. After a long period of waiting, the movie finally released on 28th July 23, and came to streaming on October 4, just in time for spooky season viewing! It will stream exclusively on Disney+ alongside the original Eddie Murphy version of the film. Oscar winner Jared Leto (DALLAS BUYERS CLUB, MORBIUS) plays the eerie Hat Box Ghost in HAUNTED MANSION, a movie that features an all-star cast of performers for him to torment. The mother and son who find out their new house is haunted are portrayed by rising star Chase Dillon and Rosario Dawson (RENT, SIN CITY), and the assistance they recruit provides both drama and hearty chuckles.

Together, they form a peculiar yet quite endearing group.
Based on the Haunted Mansion theme park experience, this is the second film in the Disney filmography under the same name. Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Tilly appeared in the first film, which was released in 2003. LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Dan Levy, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jared Leto are the stars of this new episode.
Renowned scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis (HALLOWEEN, KNIVES OUT) is also included in a unique role that enhances HAUNTED MANSION’s horror reputation. She portrays Madame Leota in the movie, a fabled mystic imprisoned in a crystal ball whom the protagonists seek out to aid them in vanquishing the Hat Box Ghost.
