According to her pals, Allie Shehorn, a makeup artist who worked on Mean Girls and Babylon, is “fighting for her life” after suffering more than 20 stab wounds.
Allie Shehorn, a makeup artist specializing in special effects, is recovering slowly following a severe assault.
According to her pals, the 35-year-old, whose credits include Mean Girls from 2024 and Babylon from 2022, was stabbed more than 20 times in her Los Angeles home on May 23.

Christine White, Shehorn’s surrogate mother, told KTLA that this was not the type of thing that should happen to anyone. “You don’t believe that this will ever befall you.”
White said that at the time of the incident, she was residing with Shehorn. Shehorn had injuries to her arms, neck, and abdomen as a result of the horrific event.
“I had to go inside the bedroom where it happened after I found her,” White narrated. “It was not a beautiful sight.”
The Los Angeles Police Department was contacted by E! News for comment, but they have not responded. Though the claimed attacker left before police could reach, law enforcement did confirm to the Los Angeles Times that a stabbing did occur in the Shadow Hills area on May 23 just after 4:30 a.m.
Shehorn’s friends said on a GoFundMe page created to pay for her medical expenses that L.A. officials informed them that the suspected assailant was apprehended in Texas “trying to leave the country.”
The fundraiser’s description said, “I come to you today with a broken heart and a cry for support for someone very close to me, my friend Allie,” written by Emily MacDonald and Jed Dornoff. “She was the victim of a terrible and needless act of violence recently.”
“As a consequence, Allie is currently in the ICU battling for her life,” they went on.
According to MacDonald and Dornoff, Shehorn has had three operations since the incident, the most recent one being on May 25 to address stab wounds on the left side of the body. Although it’s “still a very long road but she is tackling it with strength and will,” they claimed that Shehorn has also been discharged from the intensive care unit.
Shehorn’s pals said, “She is still determined not to let this beat her and is fighting through the agony to recuperate.”
