In an effort to continue their demand for more compensation, Qantas Airways’ (QAN.AX) pilots will now go on strike for six days starting from Wednesday rather than the originally scheduled three. from announcement was made on Tuesday.
In addition to the planned strike from Wednesday to Friday, the pilots of Network Aviation, which operates charter flights from Western Australia to other regions of the nation, have decided to go on strike until Monday.
The nation’s flag airline, Qantas, is locked in a wage dispute with its pilots at Network Aviation, who have turned down three new enterprise deals.

No other Qantas Group services are impacted, according to Network Aviation, while Western Australians going to towns around the area would be primarily impacted by the strikes.
Over the next six days, it intends to deploy three Qantas Boeing 737 planes and charter aircraft from other airlines. It also stated that it is creating backup plans in case there are any more strikes.
